Why bands matter
Phones are built for the networks of the market they're sold in. iPhones and recent Pixels support nearly every band worldwide. Many Android phones, especially US models, leave out bands that networks in Europe or Asia use for 5G and extra capacity. They still connect, but may not reach top speeds.
