Direct on AT&T

This eSIM is a genuine AT&T SIM, not a reseller's roaming profile. In the US your phone joins the network directly, like a local customer's, and your connection goes straight to the internet from there.

Most travel eSIMs send everything through a hub in another country, often on another continent, so every page, call and game makes a long round trip. A direct local connection keeps latency low, which is what makes video calls, meetings and online games feel smooth.

In the plan's other countries it uses AT&T's partner networks, and your connection still exits in the US. Latency is lowest nearby and higher the farther you are from there.
